Hi there. I am Anna, mom of 3 boys and the wife of a very charismatic fella, named Aaron. I have 3 female fur babies. My day job consists of appraising real estate. My passion consists of making candles. I am an avid reader, true crime lover, coffee drinker and wine enthusiast. When I'm not chasing kids, doing my day job or making candles, I can usually be found assembling a puzzle, curled up with a great book or spending time with friends. During the warmer months, I love to hike, travel and attend Atlanta Falcons football games with my boys.
My why...
The combination of being a military wife, a mom, and a busy professional brings a unique and sometimes chaotic dynamic to my life. At times this means I need to create the calm in my life and set the vibe, as the kids say. I have a deep appreciation for both the aesthetic and sensory elements of a comfortable and inviting space. And what makes a space more inviting than aromas, whether warm or fresh, light or masculine?! This little hobby of mine has been a dream for a long time. My husband's recent military deployment left me looking for some 'me' time, to create and relax, while keeping my mind and hands busy. With the support of some amazing friends (and fellow makers), Northern Blends launched and the rest is history. In the pursuit of creating something meaningful (while ensuring I keep my sanity), I am excited to bring you all things candles. I am so excited to share my passion with you while I am on this 'maker' journey.
